- SpamAssassin TM uses a complex set of scoring filters, heuristic tests, blackhole lists, collaborative databases of spam characteristics and Bayesian statistics to make spam identification as reliable as possible.
- MailWatch for MailScanner is a real time console for email monitoring and reporting.
- mailscanner-mrtg provides configuration files, web pages, and related perl scripts for mrtg to monitor many aspects of your MailScanner machine.
- MySQL database may be used to store MailWatch data, configuration options and spam preferences.
- Distributed Checksum Clearinghouses (DCC) uses unique digital signatures to identify spam .
- Pyzor is a collaborative, networked system to detect and block spam using identifying digests of messages.
- Razor2 is a distributed, collaborative, spam detection and filtering network.
- Webmin module for MailScanner is a GUI based tool for administering MailScanner.
